03- Parmarth Niketan Ganga Arti – One of the major attractions of Rishikesh is the magical view of the famous Ganga Aarti in India at Parmarth Niketan Ganga Aarti It is a mesmerizing and enchanting view of the Ganges River that depicts the lighting of thousands of well-lit days, the sweeping sound of bells and people chanting holy mantras. 04- Beatles Ashram – Beatles Ashram, also known as Chaurasi Kutia. It is named such because it has around 84 meditation chambers. These chambers are built with the local river stones which appear to be beautiful The Ashram is named such because of the Beatles who met Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (Spiritual Guru and the founder of the Ashram) in London in 1967 and got attracted to his teachings. A year later they came to Rishikesh to visit him, live and learn Transcendental Meditation.

05- Neelkanth Mahadev Temple – The Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is about 32 km from Rishikesh in the Pauri Garhwal district an altitude of 1675 meter on a hill above the Swarg Ashram, which overlooks the Nar Narayan mountain According to Hindu sacred texts, the place where the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple currently stands is the sacred location where Shiva consumed the poison that originated from the sea when Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Demons) churned the ocean in order to obtain Amrita. This poison that emanated during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) made his throat blue in color. Thus, Shiva is also known as Neelkanth
